Hi, I’m Laura.

I am a full-time nomad as I explore the country in an RV called, "The Mendenhauler," with my husband, Nick, three kids and dog. When I’m not exploring caves, historic monuments or farms, I enjoy writing, cooking, telling our kids not to jump over the camp fire and laughing at corny jokes (they get me every time).

I am the co-author of best-selling Love Fast Live Slow, Discover the Simplicity of Reflecting Jesus in a Stressful World. Having fifteen years experience in writing online bible studies and leading others in discipleship, Nick and I are constantly learning and hungry to grow as followers of Jesus.

I have a Master of Arts in Discipleship Ministries from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and proudly consider myself a bookworm. My lifelong goal is to help more people cultivate peace in their lives by stepping back, slowing down, and serving others.
